How to Reconstitute Semax (Vials)

Standard reconstitution for a 5 mg vial:

1. Swab stopper with alcohol; allow to dry

2. Add sterile saline or bacteriostatic water (saline preferred for intranasal use)

3. Inject slowly down the vial wall; swirl gently

4. Allow 2 minutes for complete dissolution

Concentration examples:

• 5 mg + 1 mL → 5000 mcg/mL (1%)
• 5 mg + 5 mL → 1000 mcg/mL (0.1%)

For intranasal dosing, a 1% (10 mg/mL) solution delivers approximately 100 mcg per drop (0.01 mL per drop).
