Our Mission

Peptide science is advancing rapidly — but reliable, accurately cited educational resources lag behind. Most information available online is either oversimplified, commercially motivated, or entirely uncited.

Know Your Peptide was built to fill that gap: a centralized, peer-reviewed reference for 167+ research peptides that provides transparent mechanisms of action, dosing data sourced directly from the literature, and honest summaries of side effect profiles — all with citations to primary studies.

Our content is produced exclusively for scientific education and legitimate research purposes. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice or endorses human consumption of research chemicals.

How Our Content Is Created

Every profile and article on Know Your Peptide follows a four-stage evidence review process before publication.

01

Primary Literature Review

Every profile begins with a systematic review of PubMed-indexed studies, clinical trial registries, and peer-reviewed pharmacology journals. We only use primary sources — no tertiary summaries.

02

Expert Drafting

Our credentialed science writers synthesize the evidence base into accessible language, preserving scientific accuracy. Mechanistic claims are cited directly to the source study.

03

Medical Review

All content is reviewed by at least one PhD-level researcher and, for profiles with clinical safety considerations, by our MD medical advisor before publication.

04

Ongoing Updates

Profiles are flagged for review when new studies publish. Our research team monitors NCBI PubMed alerts and updates content to reflect the current evidence base.

Our Editorial Team

All profiles are authored and reviewed by credentialed researchers and physicians with domain expertise in peptide biochemistry, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.
